Weekly Fee

Signature Events are hosted by local venues and are available according to host venues event schedule. Hurry and register online to secure your place for a night of something and fun. Limited spaces available. Check your event listing for availability walk ins are excepted on a first come first serve basis.

 GAME RULES

During the league dates each player will have an opportunity to play all players in their League division. The top 4 division players from each location with the best record at the end of the league’s season will go on to the playoffs for the chance to be crowned champion! All players that qualify will be split into single elimination brackets.

Equipment:

EBL will provide all necessary equipment for play throughout the duration of the tournament.

During the league dates each player will have an opportunity to play all player in their League division.

GAME OPTIONS:

Game Type: NBA Today only, Cleveland Cavaliers and Golden State Warriors are not allowed. No all-star, historic, or international teams allowed

Connection Type: Play With Friends

Games will be played with 6 minute quarters w/ Fatigue On

Team Selection

Current NBA teams only.

No Cleveland Cavaliers or Golden State Warriors. (No all-star, historic, Legends, women, celebrity, mascots or international teams allowed.  

Players may not use any custom players or teams for this competition.

Difficulty

Games will be played on Hall Of Fame difficulty. On the 2K camera view, with speed set at 70.

Mercy Rule

Anytime in the 2nd half a participant is down by 25 points it is

considered mercy rule

Reporting Scores

After each match, both players report the scores to the site; if discrepancies occur, players will need to provide photo or video evidence. Players' Lounge will decide who wins based on the evidence provided.


 

Pausing

  • If you believe your opponent is cheating by abusing game programming glitches to gain an advantage, or is violating the parameters set by the Local EBL Gaming staff, report it immediately. The decision made by the Local Legends Gaming staff on disqualification or point penalty is final

  • Players may only use a pause for a max of 1 min one time during the game.

  • Players may only pause on a dead ball, or during a timeout.

  • When a player is shooting a free throw, the player on defense (not shooting the free throw) cannot pause the game until their team gets the rebound off of the free throw.

  • Abusing In-Game Mechanics

  • Lack of Cooperation, Failing to comply with the Local EBL Gaming Staff’s directions and/or requests may result in the forfeit of round(s), a map, or the entire match.

 

Playoff Rules

Single Elimination: After losing a Match, Teams will be eliminated from the Bracket.

Default Start Time: All Round 1 Matches have the same default start time. After Round 1, all Matches have a unique default start time that is dependent upon the time at which the Teams’ previous Round results were submitted. Matches must be started by their default start time and played until completion. Postponing matches is only at the discretion of Online Tournament staff.

Double Forfeit: If a Match is not played and neither Team submits a Ticket requesting the Forfeit win, or both Teams otherwise Forfeit a Game/Match, the Game/Match win will be awarded to the higher seeded Team.

Seeding: Teams will be randomly seeded at of the close of Registration. Seeds are done in ascending order. Seed one is the highest seed.
